‘Hoo’ vs ‘Ithalakkadi’

Two maximum hype created films ‘Hoo’ of dream merchant of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran and ‘Ithalakkadi’ the comedy flick with 108 artists of Kannada cinema by Chitra Kuteera are releasing on this Friday and occupying more than 150 theatres jointly.

A film on friendship and love, crazy star V Ravichandran has rewritten the Telugu film ‘Vasantham’ script for his ‘Hoo’ with two lovely ladies, national crown winner Meera Jasmine and buxom beauty Namitha the hot sensation of South Indian cinema today. V Ravichandran has written the screenplay, dialogues, songs for ‘Hoo’ that has been given ‘U/A’ certificate by the regional censor board.

Dinesh Gandhi who found success in ‘Kannadadha Veera Madhakari’ (starring Sudeep and Ragini) is the producer of this film. Dinesh Gandhi is safe as all the areas of ‘Hoo’ are sold out. He is releasing the BKT area.

V Harikrishna the long time assistant in the camp of V Ravichandran now the No.1 music director has scored music for this film. GSV Seetharam the permanent buddy of V Ravichandran stood behind the camera. Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Hokila, Sharan are also in the supporting cast.

Another interesting film of the week ‘Ithalakkadi’ in which Rangayana Raghu and Komal Kumar are in the lead roles are also in ‘Hoo’ is hitting the screens with high expectations. V Ravichandran plays the guest role in ‘Ithalakkadi’ and Sadhu Kokila who scores the music for ‘Ithalakkadi’ also figures in both the releases of this week.

‘Chitra Kuteera’ the newly formed production house by MG Ramamurthy (of Majestic, Encounter Dayanayak etc), Bojaraja Rai (of Gange Baare Thunge Baare) director cum cameraman JG Krishna and comedy actor Bullet Prakash are the joint producers of this film.

In one of the songs in ‘Ithalakkadi’ 24 heroes of Kannada cinema appear and the whole film is narrated in comedy touch. Tushar Ranganath has penned the dialogues.

The top stars in the cast of 108 artists are – V Ravichandran, Sudeep, Jaggesh, Vijay Raghavendra and current action hero Vijay.
